I'm already starting to feel some relief.  I had lost some hope...I injured my back 2 years ago when my youngest child was 5 months old and my oldest daughter was almost 2 years old.  Now we live in Bosnia where care is really hard to find.  In America I got a cortisone shot, went to countless chiropractors, and massage therapy.  Depression had really set in as we want to have more children, and I'm only 30, But I am so scared that this pain will get in the way of really playing with my children and loving them.  It has taken so much from them.  Already after doing the exercises this morning I feel better.  Thank you for sharing and having a great attitude.

"Joy, thanks for replying.   I've been working every day and I came home just to get some rest for my back.  Your story sounds sooo much like mine; I'm even 5'2! J  Like you described it, the pain, how you felt, everything.  I feel you are the first person I can relate to.  I'm going to the YMCA where I know they have yoga classes to ask if they know about exercises for my back pain.

I'm looking forward to reading your book.   Please let me know when you have finished it?  I have one more question.  When you used to have your back pain, if you went for a walk, for example, was it ok to continue after started hurting again?  I go to the treadmill to walk or the elliptical machine, but I don't know if it's ok if it hurts.   Does it mean that my muscles are getting stronger or is it not supposed to hurt?   All the doctors have told me is 'continue with your normal life, go back to do everything you were doing,'  but I can't without being in pain.  Should I do it anyway?   I feel I don't have the resistance to keep walking, or exercising too long.

"I think you are doing some great work; I can imagine that people are coming from far to get help; when one has back trouble, you will do anything and go anywhere to find something that helps .... and I have to keep reminding myself on my posture, holding my tummy in, doing the tummy exercises, and standing with that "Core position" whilst waiting for tubes etc.  I'm learning to build good practice in everywhere.   So easy to drop it all when things improve!
